As a Project Specialist (m/f/d) - Services, you will support service improvement and continuous improvement (=CI) projects that enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will assist with various project tasks, such as coordinating activities, tracking progress, preparing documentation, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with project managers and teams, you will help implement solutions, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and contribute to the success of service improvement initiatives. You will also support the Services Project Management Office (=PMO) by assisting in the development and monitoring of service improvement programs and sharing best practices across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:
Project Identification, Definition & Delivery
- Support project managers in coordinating service improvement and CI projects, with a focus on IT, digital, and process improvement
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria together with stakeholders
- Help prepare and update project plans, timelines, and resource tracking
- Track project progress, support stakeholder communication, and help identify and report risks or issues
- Coordinate meetings and activities with cross-functional teams (e.g., Services, Global Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Digital/IT)
- Collect and organize data for project KPIs and results
- Prepare project status updates, milestone reports, and presentations for stakeholders and management
- Ensure project documentation complies with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
Continuous Improvement & Change Management
- Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and gathering best practices to improve service delivery
- Support the organization and documentation of workshops, and problem-solving sessions
- Communicate and support change management initiatives, including the adoption of new processes and tools
- Help develop and maintain project management standards and trainings
- Continously develop project management expertise in methodologies, tools and best practice
Services Project Management Office (PMO) & Best Practice Sharing
- Support reporting and monitoring for wider Service programs, incl. preparation of SteerCos
- Support best practice by sharing templates, tools, and lessons learned with colleagues
- Facilitate continuous improvement activities and contribute to a culture of learning and operational excellence
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred
- First experience in project management & PMO, preferably in industrial service environments or consulting experience
- Knowledge of Process Improvement & Project Management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, Agile/Scrum, etc.) and change management practices
- Strategic thinking and hands-on implementation approach
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment with diverse teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to align with multiple stakeholders
- Team player with strong reliability and customer focus
- Proficiency in MS-Office; experience with ERP and project management tools is a plus
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, operational approach
- Business fluent in English; fluency in German as a strong plus
