Business Analyst Expert (m/f/d)

As the Business Analyst Expert (m/f/d), you will be the driving force behind data-driven forecasting and business analysis within our Services organization. Your mission: empower our teams to make smarter decisions, optimize processes, and deliver outstanding customer experiences by transforming data into actionable insights. In this role you will drive the data-driven forecasting cycles for Service order intake and revenue on an annual and quarterly basis and own process optimization between cycles. Additionally, in the scope of business analytics you will play a key role to ensure every metric is meaningful, reviewed with purpose, and acted upon with impact. This role heavily interfaces with all levels of the Service organization as well as Service Sales, Finance and Digital.

Your Responsibilities:

Data Driven Forecasting: 
  • Ownership of data-driven forecast process (DDF) for service order intake & revenue planning
  • Initiating and navigation through the annual and quarterly -forecast planning cycles for service order intake and revenue
  • Tight communication with customer-facing teams throughout each planning cycle; provide support through clear process instructions, be available for Q&As, coordinate troubleshooting in case of technical challenges and ensure process completion within given time window
  • Hold and coordinate trainings sessions and provide training documents for the service sales team in alignment with other process/product owner (Finance, Service, Sales, Digital)
  • Analyses of data input in terms of plausibility and accuracy, challenge and highlight outliers
  • Close cooperation with process owners from Finance and Sales, Service Leadership team and product owner from Digital team
  • Ensure integration of regional feedback into source database to achieve continuous increase of data quality
Business Analysis:
  • Develop and sustain impactful KPIs that drive excellence in service delivery, efficiency, quality, and customer experience
  • Provide clear, actionable analysis to empower data-driven decisions across the organization
  • Educate stakeholders on the significance of metrics, ensuring they understand their purpose and practical application
  • Create and manage intuitive dashboards that support KPI governance, with transparent definitions, ownership, and high data quality
  • Lead regular performance reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly) focused on insights and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen team capabilities by training leaders and staff to interpret data, uncover root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Foster accountability by monitoring commitments, tracking outcomes, and measuring progress on improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with leaders to transform performance discussions from reporting results to driving ongoing enhancement
  • Proactively spot trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend targeted actions to optimize results

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economic / or equivalent (Master appreciated) education
  • 3+ years experience in operational performance, business analysis, or performance management roles, preferably in services or customer-facing environments
  • Strong understanding and interest in digital processes 
  • Strong problem solving-skills with the ability to break challenges into component parts, determine root causes of anomalies and derive pragmatic solutions 
  • Hands-on experience designing user-friendly dashboards and performance reporting (Tableau), aligned with governance and data standards
  • Translate data into actionable insights and drive improvement
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills
  • Excellent English skills (German skills are prefered)
