Lead Technical Training Instructor (m/f/d) German Speaker

In the role of Lead Technical Training Instructor (m/f/d) you will provide technical product training and consulting services to customers, distributors and internal staff to enable them to operate Jenbacher products in an efficient and effective way. You will actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement and development of our training programs and occasionally support the field service team with your expertise during training sessions.

Your Requirements:

• Deliver all basic, mid and high level (e.g. commissioning and minor overhaul training) technical hands-on and classroom training courses in own area of expertise for international customers, distributors and internal employees
• Drive improvements of training content pro-actively in close cooperation with the Global Product Training Center team
• Create and update training materials, documentation and eTraining modules in cooperation with the instructional design team
• Lead training-related infrastructure projects, e.g. define/design & build training engines, simulators, training aids, etc.
• Create a positive, constructive learning environment by applying contemporary adult learning principles
• Provide excellent customer experience for training participants, bearing in mind their diverse backgrounds and cultural needs
• Accept occational field service assignments to stay up-to-date with current Jenbacher product technology (commissioning and/or maintenance tasks)
• Comply with all relevant guidelines defined within the INNIO Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Energy Management System (ISO 50001)

Your Profile:

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or local equivalent (Secondary Vocational College or completed apprenticeship)
• Extensive years of experience with Jenbacher products and experienced with Jenbacher control systems; alternatively, a minimum of 4 years in a technical product trainer role in a similar business 
• The ability to clearly explain complex technical processes in simple terms
• Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills to support training project initiatives
• Skills and experience in adult learning techniques and methodologies
• Experience with live online training infrastructure and training concepts
• Excellent language skills in German and English, both verbal and written 
• Ohter languages are a plus
