Do you enjoy turning complex project data into business insights and making sure those insights lead to real improvement in how customer projects are running?In this role within the Customer Project Management business unit in Jenbach, you will combine project analytics with active involvement in cross-functional projects and process improvement.You will analyze project data, define and track relevant KPIs, and derive actionable insights to support data-driven decisions and project execution. In close collaboration with Digital/IT and Finance, you will translate business needs into analytical and reporting requirements, facilitate data acquisition and data pipelines, and help ensure that reporting and dashboard solutions deliver real value from a business and project perspective.At the same time, you will represent the business unit in cross-functional initiatives, helping to improve interfaces, strengthen processes, and connect analytical findings with implementation.This role is suited to someone who is comfortable with complexity, thinks in an analytical and structured way, and can move between detail and the bigger picture. Your Responsibilities:
  • Own, shape and drive project management analytics and operative project reporting
  • Generate actionable insights for decision-making and performance improvement across the Customer Project Management business unit and for senior leadership
  • Support project execution, cost controlling, and project reviews in close collaboration with Project Managers and Team Leads
  • Contribute to initiatives in data governance, data quality, master data management, and customer feedback collection within Customer Project Management and across interfaces, in close cooperation with Digital/IT, Finance, Services, and other departments
  • Represent the business unit in cross-functional projects and drive collaboration across departments
  • Share and transfer knowledge and best practices across the organization through support and training
  • Work proactively, with attention to detail while maintaining a strategic overview
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze ways of working and data flows in Oracle EBS, Primavera, myProject, and other relevant tools. Work independently and hands-on in systems and tools
Your Profile:
  • Educational background in mathematics, data analytics, business/economics, IT, or a related field
  • 3-5 years experience in analytical & reporting background: Very strong analytical background. Understanding how to gather data and move from data to insights
  • Intellectually curious, adaptable individual who thrives on learning new skills and domains rapidly
  • Track record in Analytics
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and cross-cultural skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
  • Affinity for project management and complex cross-functional topics
  • Affinity for data, IT, AI, reporting, and a customer- and business-centric mindset
  • Excellent English, writing and speaking. German is highly preferred and beneficial; we support language development for the right candidate
